LETZTEST Benchtop MiBi Lab is a high-capacity microbiological water testing system for laboratories, compliant with DIN EN ISO 9308-1. Designed for stationary use, it quantifies E. coli and other coliform bacteria per 100 mL with laboratory-grade accuracy — while remaining fully portable when projects move off-grid.
The system combines membrane filtration, a stainless steel water sampler and a large-capacity electricity-free incubator. Unlike conventional incubators, the soft, shock-resistant incubator is not prone to transport damage and operates without mains power, ensuring reliable incubation even during power outages or in off-grid field laboratories. It can incubate up to 100 LETZTEST Tubes or 300 CompactDry Petri Dishes simultaneously.

The LETZTEST Portable Membrane Filtration Kit contains three very useful consumables that facilitate testing under limited conditions. Two of them can be replaced with reusable materials once a local quality management system is in place! Each test consumes one of each consumable.
